A water dispersible granular fungicide and acaricide for an effective treatment and control of powdery mildew, various other fungal diseases as well as certain mites and thrips on various crops as listed. Also for the control of pernicious scale on dormant roses.

KUMULUS WG controls mites, thrips, powdery mildew, rust, scab on fruits, ornamentals and vegetables. Also for pernicious scale on dormant roses.

Our opinion: KUMULUS WG is one of the only products we have found to be very effective against Powdery Mildew (PM).

How does it work?

KUMULUS WG is the only sulphur product with three distinct particle sizes, each with a specific function:

Small: Rapid activity (50% of particles are less than 3 microns)
Medium: Sustained release (40% are 3 – 6 microns)
Large: Residual control (10% are 6 – 10 microns)

Once applied to the plant surface, the smallest particles begin working immediately through contact and vapour activity. The medium sized particles erode slowly and provide sustained release of active ingredient, and the larger particles provide longer-term control.

Directions for use

Cannabis:

Mix Kumulus with water in a compression sprayer - dosages below
Apply in the early evening or early morning
Can be used in the early flowering stage (1- 2 weeks into flower)
Highly effective against Powdery Mildew

Tips:

Avoid application if rain is immediately imminent – spray must have time to dry on the plant. If heavy rain follows soon after treatment use a shorter spray interval.
Apply as soon as disease is present.
Great to do one preventative spray before transitioning into flowering.

Tip:

Any fungal population may contain individuals naturally resistant to KUMULUS and other Group Code M2 fungicides. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungal population if these fungicides are used repeatedly and exclusively in programs. These resistant fungi may not be controlled by KUMULUS or any other Group Code M2 fungicides.

To delay fungicide resistance:

Avoid exclusive repeated use of fungicides from the same Fungicide Group Code.
Integrate other preventative and control methods for disease control.

Q&A

My PM keeps coming back after several applications on Kumulus?

High humidity, low airflow and lack of light will significantly increase the spread of PM. i.e. Winter.

Also if there is PM present in/around your growing environment (i.e. plants/trees in your garden, contaminated grow room) the PM will keep coming back, especially on weaker, untreated plants sitting in an environment mentioned above.

Should I bud wash my plants that are effected with PM?

Absolutely, use a hydrogen peroxide dilution.

What is the best product to use to decontaminate a room/equipment infected with PM?

A strong hydrogen peroxide dilution is the most effective cleaning agent, with no leftover residue.
