Organic rainfast pellets that lure snails and slugs from their hiding places. Animal and environmentally friendly.

This product is a unique blend of slug and snail bait additives with an iron phosphate active ingredient. The iron phosphate is used as an ingredient in fertilizers and occurs in soil. This product is pet friendly!

This product is effective against a wide range of slugs and snails and will give protection to lawns, gardens, greenhouses, outdoor ornamentals, vegetable gardens, fruits, berries, citrus and crop plants.

 

How it works & benefits

The bait is attractive to snails and slugs and lures them out of their hiding places among plants. Ingestion, even in small amounts, will cause them to cease feeding.

The physiological effect of the bait gives immediate protection to the plants. After eating the bait, slugs and snails become less mobile and begin to die within three to six days.

This product is animal and environmentally friendly. This means that it is non-toxic to birds ingesting snails/slugs once they are dead.

How to use

Dosage:

• Use 5g of bait per meter squared.

Directions:

• The bait can be scattered on the lawn or on soil around any vegetable plants, flowers, fruit trees or bushes to be protected. 
• Evening is the best time to apply the bait, as slugs and snails travel and feed mostly by night or in the early mornings.

 

The slugs and snails controlled by this product include: Deroceras spp, Arion spp, Limax spp, Helix spp and Cepaea spp.
