Description

A hardy, compact pH and temperature pen

The Bluelab pH pen is the ultimate handy solution for measuring pH readings directly from your solution. It provides a compact, quick and handy way to manage the success of your crops to ensure maximum uptake of nutrients.

Everyday accuracy of the fundamentals

This user-friendly and hardy handheld pen will take measurements in increments of 0.1 pH and is fully temperature compensated, so you can expect accurate readings every time.

New Zealand-made quality, built for growers

Our products are designed and built for grower environments - not the lab - so you can relax knowing that your pen can withstand the knocks, drops and deep-water plunges that come with everyday growing. In fact, the fully waterproof Bluelab pH Pen is designed to float when it lands up in your reservoir.

Importance of accurate pH readings

Think of nutrients like a lock and pH is the key. A key factor that affects nutrient uptake for plants is whether your solution is acidic or alkaline which is measured with pH.

Make use of the Probe Care Kit to ensure that your BlueLab tools are well-maintained and reading accurately.

Please Note:

Electrodes need to be calibrated on a regular basis due to the fact that as an electrode ages, its glass changes resistance. This resistance change alters the electrode potential, and therefor, the accuracy of the reading

The following premium calibration solutions are advised for probe calibration; pH 4.0 Calibration Solution and pH 7.0 Calibration Solution.

The following solution is advised for long term probe maintenance: Probe KCL Storage Solution.
